There’s nothing quite like a year with RuneFest – and we are so excited to be back THIS YEAR with our biggest and best one yet.
On October 3rd-4th, hundreds of J-Mods will come together with 6000 (!!) of you to celebrate 25 incredible years of RuneScape. We’ll be bringing new surprises along with all your favourite bits and pieces amped up – those big “Holy S***” roadmap reveal moments, deep discussions about our games across two stages, IRL skilling with Skillchips and much more.
If you’ve ever thought about going to RuneFest, this is the year to say "I’m going!”.
Tickets go live on Thursday April 30th at 16:00 BST / 17:00 CEST / 11:00 EDT / 08:00 PDT.
We know what makes RuneFest special, so while there’s some new exciting things to talk about, it’s also about going bigger on what you love most.
For those who have been before, you know how awesome it is to feel a little piece of Gielinor bleed into the real world. We’ll be bringing back our iconic fixtures from last year – like the Lumby gates, the Grand Exchange & Varrock Fountain – as well as some brand new parts of Gielinor that we’ll leave for you to discover on the day.
Speaking of bringing our games IRL, we’ll also have new variations of our Skill Chips! Expect 8 brand new challenges to see if that 99 in game has any translation to the real world (no judgement if not, we have the coordination of a banana). Complete all 8 Skill Chips and complete your set with the special final reward chip. It’s like a completionist cape, but for your desk.
Alongside peppering you with free socks and huge content reveals on the main stage, we will have a second permanent stage inside the RuneFest hall all weekend long. This will be packed full of developer panels and Q&As for the full behind the scenes experience.
We’re also trying something we’ve never done at RuneFest before: Questing! You’ll be able to take on RuneFest quests across the weekend, earn quest points, see where you land on the hiscores, and maybe even earn some exclusive rewards. No Quest Helper though...
Standard tickets give you full access to RuneFest across both Saturday and Sunday, along with your goodie bag packed with exclusive gifts you won’t be able to get anywhere else, including some 25th anniversary surprises.
We’re also introducing a Gold Tier ticket for those of you who want to go even bigger this year! Gold Tier includes an upgraded goodie bag featuring an exclusive RuneFest Gold Trim Rune Armour Figurine by Youtooz, never to be reproduced or resold (pictured below). You’ll also get early access to the merch store, a 15% discount on all merch purchases at the event, reserved seating at the front of the main stage, and priority booking for LAN sessions and meet and greets.

Our prices are based on two important principles; making sure we deliver an event full of core memories, and one worthy of the time and cost it takes to be there. We do not make our events or set ticket prices for profit in any way.
You’ll be able to pre-order merch alongside your ticket at early bird pricing, including some exclusive lines that won’t be available at the event.
Pre-order items will appear as add-ons during checkout, so don’t miss your chance to personalise your gear and lock in your preferred size and style before they sell out.
Your ticket will be reserved for 15 minutes while you complete your order, and you’ll be prompted to select sizing and any personalisation (where available) at checkout.
