Throughout the entire month of November, the RuneScape Community generously donated over $90,000 to an array of worthy causes by using the Well of Goodwill.
Many tens of thousands of you chipped in to contribute a staggering 544 billion of in-game wealth, for which Jagex will donate $54,479 on your behalf. You also generously donated over 7,000 Bonds, which means an additional top-up of $36,359.
The total amount raised - $90,838 - will be divided up between the seven nominated charities: Willow Foundation, SpecialEffect, Action For Kids, Games Aid, Internet Watch Foundation, HART and the DEC Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
Please accept our deepest gratitude for your support no matter how big or small it all goes towards making a massive different to improving the lives of those in need.
The scale of your response was spectacular and deeply moving, and just goes to again validate what I’ve always believed in: that the RuneScape Community is as warm, generous and big-hearted as ever.
The Well of Goodwill will remain in game, but you won't be able to donate items there for the time being as we're currently in the process of planning to support even more worthy causes in the near future. As soon as we’ve got everything sorted, the well will be reopened.
